People have braved camping in the cold, fights and even attempted robbery to empty $500-$600 from their wallets for this magical new Playstation 3. Many people waiting in lines played video games while waiting to get their new video game system.
One man reportedly paid $14,000 on Ebay for this mysterious Sony toy wonder. All this in attempt to not be called a “laggard.” The term the gaming community uses for anyone who does not have the very newest system.
Sony has been telling people to remain patient and stay in control (even though they have restricted supply to create this chaos). Maybe when the PS4 comes out they should get rid of the lines and just have a free for all everywhere, strongest people get the first ones! Survival of the fittest right?
