A Snapshot of New Things to Come
Here we see President Bush meeting with new Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Friday. Prior to the meeting, Harry Reid said that he could not remember the last time he was invited to the White House. Funny that, he was only Senate Minority Leader in his previous life.
We wonder if President Bush will get to know the person behind the person in Harry Reid, like he did with fellow power brokers like former House Speaker Dennis Hastert. You know, saying stuff like Hastert couldn’t have possibly covered up for Mark Foley because he is a good Dad. We have a feeling that this relationship will not be as close, and frankly, we hope not!
