Americans Officially Siren President Bush
We’re sure George Bush thinks it was ages ago that he won re-election and Republicans gained Senate seats in 2004. It was a very close presidential race, yet a defiant Bush spoke the day after the election and said firmly “I have earned political capital and I intend to spend it.”
Well Mr. President, you have spent your capital and the American people have taken the rest away. Low approval ratings are one thing but elections are another.
We saw a much more humbled George Bush today than two years ago. His dictatorship is over and he is now officially at the mercy of Congress and more importantly, the American people.
George Bush…you have officially been Sirened.
