Down the Stretch They Come!
Yes, we had the Breeder’s Cup on Saturday which saw an upset in the final race. But we are coming down the home stretch of another horse race and that is the Grand 2006 mid term elections. Will we stay the horse or change ‘horses in midstream,’ an addage that incumbent politicians have always told us is a bad idea.
Will we vote Democrat or Republican? Yes or No on purposely confusing amendments? Will Mark Foley make a last minute re-entry into the box? Will Saddam demand a recount? Stay tuned…
