George Bush refuses to admit that there is a civil war in Iraq. Despite thousands of deaths due to sectarian violence between Shiites and Sunni’s, Bush continues to blame Al-Qaeda for the civil disorder in the country.

The bipartisan independent Iraq study group is expected to advise that the US should begin pulling some troops now. By doing this, it shows Iraq some sense that we are leaving and it puts more accountability in taking over the security forces we destroyed when toppling their government.

Most Democrats agree with the idea of gradually pulling troops. Not Bush. He met with Prime Minister Maliki and defiantly said that the US would pull no troops in the near future. This seems like a whole lot of bullshit rhetoric, bureaucracy and hoopla for stay the course. There’s also the fact that George Bush doesn’t have a clue. Clearly, previous years of booze and cocaine has taken a toll on his already fragile brain.
