Stephen Colbert Endorses Putin in 08′
Stephen Colbert once again announced his endorsement of Vladimir Putin for US President in 2008. Colbert believes Putin will make a great candidate because he is a tough leader and friend of President Bush.
Putin has come under recent criticism for the possible involvement of poisoning a former Russian spy who had criticized the Kremlin. The sheep in wolves clothing, Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain, has said he wants a full investigation into the matter. He says he will even speak to Putin about it if necessary. We’re sure he is hoping that is not necessary, but if they do talk, we’re sure it will be a lovely conversation over a nice cup of tea.
If Putin did have something to do with the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko, it shows he is a tough leader who can get the job done. And like Bush has said before “I have looked into his eyes, he is a good man.”
Stephen’s endorsement of Putin is disapointing because last week we announced our endorsement of Colbert’s friend, P.K. Winsome in 2008. We’re just not sure if Putin has the charisma and human soul to win the hearts of American voters. But who knows, he won the heart of George Bush, in fact, we think he had him at hello.
