The B5Media network:

We Won!

We Won!

This year, Time magazine made all of us a winner by making everyone Person of the Year. After careful consideration, they decided to name “You” the winner because of all your work in restructuring and diversifying the media. The media has grown much larger because of bloggers and the refreshing viewpoints that have come about.
This is also a great marketing ploy by Time to sell more magazines. What do you think would sell more copies, “You” on the cover or Kim Jong II? We’re thinking they will sell a lot more copies this way.
Time has sometimes chosen leaders who have gone on to be …read more

Camel For Kids

Camel For Kids

Everyone remembers Joe Cool, Camel cigarettes poster boy cartoon for many years. Joe was smooth and winning and always smoking of course. After all, smoking was the essence of Joe Cool.
Joe Cool was a bit hit for RJ Reynolds and Camel. But the party ended as many complained he was too cartoonish and aimed at kids. Camel still has a Camel but now it’s just an ordinary one, hanging out in the desert with no cigarette. It’s not nearly as exciting or cool as it used to be.
So RJ Reynold’s and Camel have come out with a new gimmick. They …read more

‘Blood Diamond’ Not Good For Diamond Industry

‘Blood Diamond’ Not Good For Diamond Industry

The release of ‘Blood Diamond,’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Connolly has gotten diamond company’s like De Beers on the defensive. The film, which opens today, centers around the war in Sierra Leone from 1991-2002 which was largely funded by diamonds.
The diamond industry has been scrutinized in the past for dealing in a shiny object that has cost the lives of thousands of people. De Beers claims that it has not knowingly purchased any blood diamonds in recent years. Thing is, De Beers purchases 95% of its diamonds from an African collective. Therefore, they have no way of knowing where the diamonds come from. It’s a wonderful …read more

Blair Holds More Ass Kissing Talks With Bush

Blair Holds More Ass Kissing Talks With Bush

Today, Tony Blair met with George Bush once again, to smile and make small talk over Iraq. Yesterday morning, a weary looking Bush described aspects of the Independent Iraqi Commission Report as “interesting.” Yes, interesting. That is certainly the word to describe the incompetence and failure of Bush’s ’stay the course’ policy.
Today the words that Bush and Blair uttered many times was the way forward in Iraq. This of course, contrary to the way backward approach.
It is always a pleasure to see Bush and Blair meet. Imagine how cool the founding fathers would have found all this to be? We’re sure they would think it …read more

Mary Cheney Baby and Gay Rights?

Mary Cheney Baby and Gay Rights?

Here we see Mary Cheney with her longtime partner of 15 years, Heather Poe. Mary Cheney, clearly the female in the relationship, is now pregnant.
Dick Cheney is apparently very excited at the news of another grandchild. But we’re sure he is dissapointed that he probably won’t be around to show the child the tricks of the fraudulent trade.
The biggest questions here is what this will do for gay rights? Specifically, gay marriage which many gays compare to the plight of the black civil rights movement. Except gays can still use the same water fountains as everyone else.
Regardless, the issue of gay marriage has been …read more

Will George Bush Get a Statue In Iraq?

Maybe, just maybe…

Why We Should Leave Iraq…

Why We Should Leave Iraq…

These statistics say it all right here. This is courtesy of CNN and Crooks and Liars.
Unlike Crooks and Liars, we would like to add a few other reasons why we should leave Iraq. And give George Bush some additional advice not included in the Hamilton-Baker report.
1) Iraqi’s are what are called Muslims, meaning they believe in a different religion to us. George Bush once said that he could not imagine Osama Bin Laden enjoying Hanukah. Um, duh, he is what is called a Muslim.
2)If George Bush won’t talk to Syria or Iran, then it’s time to just go. Syrians and Iranians have …read more

Extra Extra…Read All About Iraq Deteriorating

It’s finally here, and on paperback! Yes, today the Independent Iraqi Commission finally released their long awaited book report on Iraq.
Were there any juicy surprises in the report? Like maybe Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki having a harem of women? Not really, they pretty much just focused on the serious stuff, like lot’s of people dying.
They talked about the situation in Iraq deteriorating, and considering that 10 Americans have been killed just today, we believe them! In a nutshell, they said it’s tough stuff over there, kinda like Rumsfeld and Bush, minus the bias, lies and arrogance.
We saw George Bush flicking through the book …read more

Do You Have Anti-Bodies For Taco Bell?

Do You Have Anti-Bodies For Taco Bell?

Today, Taco Bell has pulled green onions from its 5,800 restaurants nationwide. The reason is that 65 people have become sick in Long Island, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
But how do they know it’s the green onions? Maybe it’s the Grade D beef they use? Or maybe it’s the general uncleanliness? When it comes down to it, a visit to Taco Bell is kinda like visiting a 3rd world country.
Before going to 3rd world countries, you need hepatitis vaccinations. We recommend the same before a visit to Taco Bell. However, many American children grow up eating Taco Bell and therefore develop the anti-bodies …read more

A Rumsfeld Flashback

A Rumsfeld Flashback

Now that we have seen a glimpse of what Robert Gates is about, and in just a day he seems like a timid version of the flip flopping Donald Rumsfeld. First saying we are losing, then saying we are not winning nor losing. Bob Gates seems pretty candid and friendly but give him time. Once he starts getting grilled by the media he will almost surely throw some punches back. Will he be as arrogant and dickish as Rummy? Who knows, but he certainly can’t do a worse job than the one Rumsfeld did, of course Gates still has to …read more
