The hanging of Saddam Hussein is a perfect example of the incompetence of the US/Iraqi government in Iraq. Saddam was held in US custody from the time of his capture, through his trial and up until the morning he was executed. He was only then handed over to the Shiite thugs seen here.

YouTube has the secret camera phone video that was taken and released that actually shows Saddam dropping from the gallows. We won’t show it here as it is too disturbing, but you can see it on good ole’ YouTube.

The fact that a video phone was snuck in shows what an unprofessional fiasco this was, especially with the Shiite gangsters taunting Saddam. But even the government released video, with no audio, showed the idiocy of how this was handled. Why aren’t these guys wearing uniforms? Why are they wearing leather jackets? Was this like a Middle East mafia hit or something?

Making this all the more stupid was that Saddam was hanged on the morning of the most important Sunni holiday. Sound like complete vengeance by Maliki’s Shiite led government? Maybe just a tad. Sound like a good way to settle a country that has gone amuck into sectarian violence? Um, no.

Come on guys, do something right over there. How can we “win” with stuff like this happening? This should be further proof to the American populous that it is time to leave Iraq.
