Good ole’ Bushie, he continues to stand behind his unqualified and deceitful bud from Texas. Today the Senate drafted a fresh clean non-binding resolution expressing no-confidence in the attorney-general.

Gonzales, who bumbled around questions at a Senate hearing last month, perhaps could have used a bit of water boarding to get some information out of him. But his dodging of questions proved his devotion to the ‘Decider’ and thus he decided to keep him.

Today Bush said “I’ve got confidence in Al Gonzales doing the job.” Good deal, one incompetent dude having faith in another one. It’s like a re-run of when Bush had Rummy’s back for years despite overwhelmingly stiff opposition.

As for the allegedly fraudulent firings in the Justice Department, Bush said “This will be an exhaustive investigation.” Yes certainly, I’m sure it will be very similar to the one O.J. Simpson used to find the real killer of Nicole Brown.
