A Presidential Candidate and His Rock

If you haven’t heard of Democratic presidential candidate Mike Gravel your not out of the loop. But if you’ve seen any of the Democratic debates you know who this guy is. He is the crazy, loud mouthed former Alaska Senator (which by the way, what is the deal with Senators from Alaska and yelling?-ie. Ted Stevens, current Republican Alaska Senator and pawn of ‘Big Oil’).

If you watch this video and Gravel just stares into the camera, which he will, this is not a Youtube glitch. After staring into the camera for about a minute, Gravel then proceeds to throw a big rock into a pond and walk away. Apparently some young folks thought it was a good idea to have the no chance in hell old timer do something extremely bizzare to draw attention to himself. It’s actually a pretty good idea because it’s working.

And let me say this-it may be annoying and confusing to have 9 candidates on each side of the aisle running for president and sometimes having to raise their hands if they are for or against an issue, but if it was just the Clinton’s, Obama’s, Edward’s, Guiliani’s, McCain’s and Romney’s of the country running, then how much of a democracy is this process? So Gravel, here’s hoping you get the Sirened bump, even if you have zero chance.
