Yesterday, Republican presidential candidate and visionary war monger Tom Tancredo reiterated his belief that the US could be justified in attacking the holiest of holy Muslim sites.  

In reference to another September 11th style attack occurring in the US, Tancredo said “an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina.”

Just when you thought the loony bin of candidates couldn’t get any nuttier, someone just dropped a jumbo snickers in the pool! What a tool. A deputy spokesperson for the State Department, Tom Casey issued a statement saying Tancredo’s comments were “reprehensible” and “absolutely crazy.” Yes, that’s a few ways to describe his comments but I’d like to add my own “fucking dumbass.”

Tancredo responded to the State Department saying “Yes, the State Department. Boy, when they start complaining about things I say, I feel a lot better about the things I say, I’ll tell you right now.” Amazing, a Congressman who is running for President pulls a Michael Richards and not only does he not apologize, he laughs it off and calls out the government agency that called him out.

I thought Brownback was the nuttiest Republican running but Tancredo just went all in with his last $10 and his Adolph Hitler commemorative coins.
