The B5Media network:

Around the Internets…

Well, it’s Friday so let’s see what’s going on around the internets that doesn’t involve OJ (What is he up to by the way?). It’s been like 2 whole days since we’ve heard that much. I know he’s home and all but what did he have for dinner last night? Can we get satellite images of his living room? Surely he must be up to something crooked and interesting, anyways…

Food stamp users are helping to subsidize frequent flier rewards programs.

After the Patriots got caught spying on the New York Jets the NFL commish punished them by taking away a first round draft pick. The NFL has since announced that it has destroyed the tapes. God forbid there is a major scandal here like in every other sport.

Speaking of sports scandals, more than a year later Floyd Landis has finally been stripped of his Tour de France title. Although he is free to appeal again which I’m sure he will.

This is the some of the best proof yet of how much of an occupier we are in Iraq. After the private security firm Blackwater USA was banned by the Iraqi government for gunning down civilians, they resumed operations today! WTF? Are you kidding me? Stephen Colbert was right last night when he said “There are Iraqi laws?” I suppose there are, unless we veto them.

Alicia Silverstone is taking this whole vegetarian PETA thing seriously, posing naked for a new TV ad. Personally I prefer my pita’s with meat but no hair.

There’s another Simpson in the news in Boston. It’s some spoiled MIT chic named Star Simpson who showed up to Logan airport wearing a circuit board looking bomb device. She was arrested this morning but has been released on $750 bail. That’s way less than the other Simpson, speaking of which, what’s OJ up to?

Eagle from this place.

More on Alicia’s Pita at PETA.
