Beaver Currency Passes US Dollar

Well, it’s official, the Canadian dollar is now worth more than the US dollar. The Canadian dollar had been riding our ass for a bit now but I really didn’t think it would actually pass us! But alas, it sadly has.

I was just in Canada 6 weeks ago and 1 US dollar still got you $1.05 Canadian, those were the good ole’ days! Now 1 US dollar gets you just under 98 Canadian cents. What the hell is going on? Has the price of maple syrup hit record highs? Are we buying up that much BC bud? Is there some correlation?

Or maybe it’s just our ridiculous trade deficit combined with our costly occupation of Iraq that is depleting our once mighty dollar. People can make arguments on the pros and cons of Iraq but if you are still pro Iraqi occupation, seriously, look at our dollar. Anybody got any Canadian?

maybe this is a set-up for the beginning of the North American Union. I can’t wait to spend my “Ameros” in Tijuana.

I feel quite sorry for people that think America is rich, in reality, and quite literally – America is further in the red than any other country in the world. Over 800 Billion is owed… sadly and eventually the funds will run out.

Note to self: Request to be paid in Euros.

Yeah we need Ameros! That way when illegals cross the border they won’t have to worry about getting screwed by fees at the currency exchange.

Plus, we are opening Taco Bells in Mexico so that would be a good place for vacationing Americans to spend some Ameros at.

Bull shit! The U.S dollar is hitting a new record low against other foreign currencies. I always wanted to travel to Europe. Unfortunately, the price might have sky rock to American tourist because of the weaknesses of our currency.

Hung-Yeah super bad time to go to western Europe. If you want to go to Europe hit up the Czech Republic or Poland or something (still a good value). Or if your super keen there’s still great deals to be had in Bulgaria, Romania and the Ukraine!!
