George Carlin Chats With Keith Olbermann on Countdown
George Carlin is the undisputed king of social and political comedy and has influenced the likes of John Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and Dennis Miller. This is his appearance on Countdown just 2 days ago in which he addressed a variety of pressing issues with typical Carlin wit and humor.
One lighter issue discussed is Stephen Colbert’s run for president. One poll actually has Colbert polling 5th among democrats! And he’s only just behind Joe Biden for 4th place.
Colbert hasn’t announced a running mate just yet. Perhaps a Colbert/Carlin ticket?

huh
Thanks for the insightful comment.
George Carlin was right on at skewering both sources of hypocrisy in our society: church and government. The guy was great, and I so wish he could stay here longer, but as he said, “We’re circling the drain. The human race is gone from this world.”
Glad you didn’t have to stick around for the finale, George.
George Carlin was phenomenal at bringing so many important (and random) things to our attention that we might otherwise not think of. And just being amazingly witty and hysterical.
But yes, probably not a bad time for him to get the hell out of here. Thanks for the memories George.
