Idaho Senator Larry Craig continues his battle to retract his gay plea in a Minnesota courtroom. Craig initially plead guilty to gay, then resigned from the Senate, then said he was not guilty of the gay and said he would stay in the Senate. But as Stephen Colbert said, Larry Craig is guilty of being gay because he used the classic coming out line ”I am not gay.”

The potato state senator believes he should have the right of every other American in retracting his guilty plea from the funniest bathroom antics this century has seen so far. And big deal, all we really know is that Craig has “a wide stance,” likes to tap his foot in the crapper and may or may not have been putting his hand under the other stall to pick up a piece of toilet paper. After all, if you saw a piece of toilet paper under the other stall, wouldn’t you try and pick it up too? He should be commended for being a republican who clearly cares about the environment by not wanting to waste toilet paper.
