Ok, so the Korean man may not have actually been killed by the exploding cell phone battery. But as we’re reading this story it’s great to know that Verizon is “the network that turns good gifts into great gifts!” I mean, my Razor has lots of features but when I’m ready to discard it, I don’t really know if it will self destruct as I’d like it to. Maybe I need to have a better look through my T-Mobile manual.

Facebook, the social networking site that is riding the ass of Tom and his Myspace has come under some criticism lately. Apparently many members are appalled with Facebook not respecting their privacy by openly sharing information with their friends, family and the random person they just added.
Facebook is trying a revolutionary advertising scheme, it involves you buying something and then Facebook sharing what you bought with everyone on your friends list. But shouldn’t that be kosher? I mean, if you like that product/service there’s an excellent chance that some of your friends will like it too (even if they don’t know it yet).

Well, there were some interesting questions posed to the republicans last night and some not so interesting because they’ve been asked over and over again. Anyways, this YouTube doctor asked the candidates what they would do about fixing the infrastructure in this country that needs to be repaired. You know, like that bridge in Minneapolis needed before it went crashing into the river.

The republicans finally debate the YouTubes tonight! The dems did this over the summer and the republicans were scheduled to do this back on September 27th. But then Mitt Romney got scared of a snowman and pulled out. Several other republicans pulled out but then the snowman challenged Mitt Romney personally. And no snowman challenges Mitt Romney personally! So he got back on board as did the other republicans.

The Little Engine that Could candidate Dennis Kucinich is at it again, this time trying to steal some Ron Paul supporters, or just enrage them even more. Over the Thanksgiving Day weekend Dennis Kucinich said “I’m thinking about Ron Paul” when referring to the hypothetical person who would be his running mate assuming he won the democratic nomination. Kucinich said they would be a good team “to balance the energies in this country.”
Well, like I’ve said before, at least Dennis has a hot wife and for that, he’s a winner. Good on ya Dennis!

Those crazy kids and their crazy YouTube questions! Here’s democratic presidential candidate Chris Dodd trying to steal the republicans thunder by asking some question about the Constitution and what rights we may have to give up if one of them is elected president. Thank goodness Chris Dodd introduces himself and says where he is from, otherwise who the hell would know?

If you’re looking for the best country in the world to live, head to Iceland. The UN just came out with its annual best places to shack up list and Iceland finally passed Norway, which had topped the list the previous 6 years. Apparently the salmon tastes better in Iceland these days. But really, when you look at all these people hanging out in those funky natural spring baths, how could you not want to live in Iceland? Mississippi Senator Trent Lott has had enough of becoming as irrelevant as the US Constitution itself. The former senate majority leader even had a difficult time collecting on his claim with State Farm after Hurricane Katrina.
Trent Lott stepped down as senate majority leader in 2002 after he was criticized for saying “When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the years, either.” The comment was viewed as one that supported segregated water fountains but Lott said he was just trying …read more

Today was the first time Al Gore and George Bush stood side by side, since well, I think the debates back in 1999 when Al Gore was sighing into his microphone as Bushie babbled on about issues he had no clue of.
Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Prize for inventing global warming and thus, as part of White House tradition, he was invited for awkward photo ops at the White House. The two also had a private 40 minute meeting where Al Gore explained his movie to George Bush with fun caricatures.
