Moff-Thanks! The extra input is greatly appreciated. And yes, thanks to alcohol my body has been greatly dehydrated many a times.

I try to drink lots of water, juice and/or fruit;
but does anybody have a special formula they use for re hydrating while drinking?

nice stuff dude good list. just one thing - hangovers arent just from withdrawing from alcohol (although alcohol is one of only 2 drugs that can kill you from withdrawing). Alcohol permeates nearly every single cell in your body, so dehydration from alcohol affects every cell in your body. the net result is that your body is in a state very similar to dying from thirst. there is literally not enough moisture in all parts of your body.

Amanda-It depends how much you drink. Yes, if you eat on an empty stomach you will get drunk MUCH quicker. If you eat and don't binge drink, you may not even get drunk.

But yes, eating can help hangovers, not cure them.
