The B5Media network:

George Bush Finally Endorses John McCain

For weeks, as it became clearly apparent that John McCain would become the republican nominee, more and more republicans officially endorsed him (including Papa Bush). But the Prez? In typical Katrina style late to the party fashion, George Bush waited until John McCain officially became the republican nominee, essentially taking all choice out of his hands.

It’s probably best this way though, I mean, it would have been awfully embarrassing had Lil’ Bush endorsed Sam Brownpants way back or Mike “hanging in for the fun” Huckabee even sooner. Or what about Mittens or Rudy 9/11? Bush probably figured he’d already made enough wrong decisions for say, 5 presidencies and said why bother thinking about this when the decision will be made for me? Plus, having less than 1 year left as ‘The Decider’ must be a real bummer.
