Charlton Heston’s Gun Available
Yesterday Charlton Heston passed away at the age of 84 and as a result his gun is now available. As president of the National Rifle Association, Heston famously said that you can take his gun away “from my cold dead hands!”
That line was made even more famous when Michael Moore showed it in his film Bowling for Columbine. It seemed pretty intimidating at the time, I mean, it’s not liked I wanted to take Charlton Heston’s gun, but if I had wanted to he sure would have made me think twice.
But what was all the fuss about? Did someone threaten to take his gun? If so, why didn’t he just shoot them in the face like Dick Cheney did to his friend? I think that old man learned his lesson. Anyways, whoever you are that wanted Heston’s gun, it’s available now. Just make sure he really is dead, perhaps this is a big ploy to find out who really wants his gun.

Great post Alex! Not sure I’d want the gun though…
