There is a hysterical congressional race heating up between Missouri republican incumbent Sam Graves and his democratic opponent Kay Barnes. Graves has decided to go with page 1 of his 1 page play book- the 1980’s gay disco attack method. It’s a trick play along the lines of the “statue of liberty” play in football, as would be called if Larry Craig was head coach.

John McCain is having big problems with the YouTubes, partly because he is ancient and mostly because he is full of crap. This latest compilation of John McCain flip flopping and generally having no clue what he is talking about has been viewed by over 1.5 million YouTubers over the past 12 days.

Finally! Backstabbing Scott McClellan’s new book What Happened has the media looking into their own muck ups prior to the invasion of Iraq. As many remember, the media’s coverage was basically a flag waving parade as they helped enable the Bush administration to spew their propaganda without serious question.
From a business perspective, it made total sense for the media to do what they did. Are you a fan of NCAA college basketball bracketology? I know I am. It’s another theme day here at b5media’s Travel & Culture channel and with the theme being the letter “T” I decided to go with the talking political heads. With the presidential campaigns taking center stage of news coverage for far too long, there’s perhaps no better time to be a famous, semi-famous or not so famous talking political head. Why? Hope you’ve had a great Memorial Day weekend and managed not to feel the pinch at the pump too much.
Ironically, my memory of Memorial Day actually failed me today because I live in Amsterdam now. I remembered Friday but then forget, until I came on the internet today. Since it’s not a holiday here it just slipped me.
