Clinton Supporters for McCain Website

Clinton SupportersEven though Hillary Clinton formally conceded on Saturday and endorsed Barack Obama (and thankfully she finally did something to put her issues, country and party above herself-of course she kinda had to for the future of her political career) the wounds are still far too fresh for many of her supporters. I really can’t blame them for their frustration seeing as how many of them put a lot of hard work and/or had a lot of belief in their candidate. And the race was oh so close and controversial.

So out of this frustration, a website has formed called Ex-Hillary Clinton Supporters for John McCain. The site boasts that it has 35,000 members and is growing. The site itself isn’t very informative and the front page includes 2 pictures, one where it shows Obama looking like he is ignoring Hillary Clinton and the other with John McCain smiling at her. In a nutshell, it’s total bullshit.

The site is also moderated to only include comments that bash Barack Obama and praise Hillary Clinton and John McCain. You can also donate to the site to help in the upkeep of moderating such wonderful comments like “I will not vote for the affirmative action candidate” and such. Yes, there is a new law that requires that a minority candidate be the presidential nominee of a major party once every 200 years. duh!

Black people didn’t vote for Bill Clinton because of his color, but black people will vote for Obama because he is black. This is racist. Fellow Hillary supporters, please don’t vote for Obama. Obama and his supporters totally disrespected (and still disrespect) Senator Clinton and us Clinton supporters. The DNC, only cares about half of the democrats in their party, so why let them con you into putting the DNC above the country.

Lee-Hillary could still become president if Obama gets shot (and trust me she would love that because she is so immensely power hungry). People do not go 20 million in debt to become president if it’s for all the right reasons.

Hillary AND Bill very much disrespected Obama, I lost my respect for the Clintons but gained a smidge back that Hillary did the right thing in the end.

But yeah fellow Dems, let’s elect John McBush, things have just been oh so splendid these last 8 years!

Lee, some white people didn’t vote for Obama because he was black… it works both ways.

Blacks make up 25% of the democratic party and in the early states, Hillary won about 20% of the black vote, that dwindled down to 8-10% as the campaign ran deeper.

If the Clintons had acted classier towards Obama (ie. Bill Clinton not dismissing Obama’s South Carolina win) perhaps Hillary could have stayed at the 20% mark. If she had, she would probably be the nominee now.

Hillary lost this election because she ignored the caucas states. With all the caucas states Hillary won 193 delegates and Obama won 400 so Obama netted 207 delegates from just the caucas states and Hillary just couldn’t catch up to Obama’s lead in the delegates and this was a race for delegates and nothing more so if Hillary is mad then she has no one to blame but herself for ignoring all the caucas states if she had she might have been the nominee. Black people aren’t the only ones voting for Obama, more White people have voted for Obama than Black people.

Tonya-Excellent point. There are a lot of reasons Hillary lost the nomination (one of which was Barack’s ability to actually win it).

But yes, her campaign manager Mark Penn focused most of the resources on winning the big states. Somehow he thought the democratic primary was like the republican one (and when he first took the helm he unbelievably did think the states were winner take all!!)

A great example of this blunder was that Obama picked up a delegate by winning Idaho over New Jersey. Hillary won Jersey by a decent margin but Obama whooped her in Idaho, actually netting him a delegate.

David Plouffe won the nomination, Mark Penn lost it.

Obama has raised more money than Hillary that it’s mind boggling but Hillary did raise a lot of money and I just don’t understand how she is over 20 Million dollars in debt and I wonder if she can’t handle her campaign’s finances how would she handle our economy.

I’ve been reading the blogs and people are saying Obama stole this from Hillary because she had the popular vote. Well the rules say delegates would decide this primary and not the popular vote and Caucas states don’t calculate the popular vote where Obama won majority of them and Hillary was adding in Puerto Rico in her popular vote total and they don’t vote in the general election plus all the Republicans who voted for Hillary which was a lot because Rush Limbaugh was telling them to because this would cause chaos at the convention and then it would harder for a democrat to win the general.

The DNC really had their hands full with this. They couldn’t possibly count Michigan and Florida votes completely because in the future, states would not heed the warnings to not push their primaries forward.

But even if Florida and Michigan delegates were fully seated (as long as Obama got all the non-committed votes in Michigan) he would still be ahead in pledged delegates.

Hillary did a major disservice to the party by sparking divisiveness, saying that she got more white votes than Obama, Obama isn’t right for blue collar voters, etc.

Also, the Hillary campaign touted how many people voted in Florida and it ticks me off that the mainstream media never talked about the property tax cut that was on the ballot-she got a big break with this! I was living in Florida at the time and voted there, that was a BIG BIG issue in Florida that sparked big voter turnout. It wasn’t all for them, they just happened to be on the ballot too.

With the way the Clintons go about things, it’s very difficult to believe just about anything they say.

I will not vote for Obama. Millions of us will not vote for Obama. He has no experience. He went to a church for 15 + years that preached hate and racism. Do you not think that maybe, just maybe during that time in that church he took on some of those beliefs? We do not need that type of person in the white house. My prediction is that the race will be close, but McCain will get those Clinton supporters. I am still hoping for a miracle at the convention!

I just can’t believe that after 8 years of George Bush, that people who supported Hillary Clinton would vote for John McCain.

Then again I can because enough Americans voted for Numb Nuts Bush twice for him to steal the election.

Oh well, that’s why I’ve moved from the United States to the Netherlands! The mentality of most people in this country is not ass backwards like the US.

And I will be casting my absentee ballot for Barack Obama.

Obama is not a racist and Rev Wright doesn’t hate white people but he doesn’t like Goverment policies and I know a lot of people who don’t. Obama is half White and half Black and he was raised by his White mother and White Grandparents.

Please tell me all the experience that John McCain has. Just because a person is old doesn’t mean they should be running the country.

John McCain has already said on several occasions he doesn’t now much about the economy, wrong answer. The Economy is the #1 thing that most people are worried about and if John McCain doesn’t know much about the economy then how do you think he is going to fix it.

Obama is my guy and and I can’t wait till Nov when he is elected President Of The United States.

  12.   Alex
    June 23rd, 2008 | 3:59 pm

Tonya-Very well said. They say that with age comes wisdom and sometimes that’s true. But in most cases it is not because it’s much easier to simply grow old, than it is to grow old and wise.

McCain is a great example, a man who graduated towards the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy and is where he is because he’s lied and cheated in life. Marrying Cindy McCain for her money and power one month after he divorced his first wife.

John McCain not only doesn’t know much about the economy, but he isn’t an expert on foreign policy either, McCain is an expert at nothing (he is a smarter version of George Bush and that isn’t difficult).

Barack Obama is a more intelligent person than John McCain, he will put experts in cabinet positions and actually LISTEN to them.

Seriously, how much of the show do you really think the president manages anyway? They have the ability to fuck some things up (obviously), but they don’t pull all the strings.

So what if you liked Hilllary do what is right for the soilders in Iraq they are someones sons and daughters. The republicans will just take there lives and now in forclosures take there homes. Then turn around and blame them for getting loans the currant administration authorized. Watch the C-span and get the story about the rich on wall street being helped by the republicans in the federal government. Get the FACTS before you vote please for the sake of us all!!!

“Democrats” who will vote for McCain or working class people who generally vote for shit that keeps them in poverty is the reason why I’m now living in the Netherlands.

Nobody goes bankrupt if they get sick here and because everyone is insured the life expectancy is a little bit longer here than the US. This country also doesn’t allow bullshit hormones to be injected into the food like the FDA allows.

And this is generally a wealthy country.

Unless the mindset of the US catches up to other developed nations I have no interest to move back.

But hey, let’s vote for McCain, let’s go even further backwards because we haven’t already gone backwards enough…

I’m not a big supporter of Hillary Clinton but if she was the nominee then she would have got my vote because i’m a TRUE democrat. People who calls themselves democrats but won’t vote for Obama are not real democrats, they are phoneys.

It is time for a change in this Country, the Republicans have had 8 years and look where we are at. The republicans time has come and it’s time to turn the page.

tonya-Agreed. I don’t like Hillary Clinton because I think she is full of shit. But is she better than John McCain? Absolutely because she doesn’t quite represent more of the same. Even if her husband enjoys playing golf with daddy Bush.

If Obama gets shot like Hillary hopes, I will vote for Hillary for prez because I too am a true democrat.

  25.   Blake
    July 19th, 2008 | 5:12 pm

I agree with Lee, the only reason blacks voted for him was simply because of his skin color.

Look, 90 PERCENT! That right there is RACIST! However, why did they vote for Hillary, and Bill in the 90’s? Because they weren’t running against a black candidate?

Exactly, we all know that’s the reason. The sad thing is, Obama isn’t even African American, he’s mixed, and lived with white people his entire life.

I was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, and I happen to be a man. Thank God for the female vote, but unfortunately, the female vote didn’t out number the African American vote.

Obama BETTER thank that African American vote, or he would have lost. He would have lost the south, Missouri, and the percentages of the states wouldn’t have been close.

For example, Clinton would have won Ohio by about 20 points, but because of the African American votes in Cleveland, and Cinncinnati, he chopped it down to 10. He only won about 38 percent of the whites total.

  26.   Alex
    July 21st, 2008 | 11:13 pm

Blake-90% of blacks are also democrats.

John Kerry won D.C. in 2004 over Bush with like 90% of the vote.

Blacks account for 25% of the democratic party and yes many voted based on color, making it racist. But since 75% of the democratic party is not black, there would have been just as many who voted Against Obama because he is black.

So the racist votes kinda canceled each other out here. And thankfully Obama came out on top over the classless Clintons (whom I would have been forced to vote for had Hillary been the nominee).

Black people didn’t vote for Clinton? You have lost your mind, Black people LOVED Clinton (mind you I didn’t) AND voted for him. Obama’s the better candidate AND Hillary was out campaigned. Those of you who don’t vote for Obama are not true democrats and don’t care about the war, economy, health care, women’s repoductive rights, or this country. Chew on that. You all make white women look like stupid bigots.

you guys are acting like babies, he won even counting florida and he wasn’t on the ticket for michigan; in fact only clinton was, how fair was that. The DNC is going with Obama because they want to win and picking Clinton would be even more unfair, and your going to cause us to go through another 4 years of Bush/Cheney due to your stupid grudge. You obviously have not seen what has been going on around you for the last eight years. The Republicans have declared war on the middle class and moved this nation from a surplus in wealth to a record deficit, moved us from a superpower to a country on the decline, taken us to war on false pretenses to lose thousands of American lives along with unknown numbers of Iraqi civilians, proudly announces we are the biggest polluters in the world while refusing to participate in worldwide solutions against global warming, the healthcare situation is the worst of any industrialized nation, the disparity between the classes is the most drastic since the Gilded Age yet HERE is where you draw the line. People can be sent to die, your economy is in a shambles, America has lost it’s standing but you have decided to reward that party by voting them in again. No wonder Fox wants to parade you fools around to show them how stupid Democrats really are….
Hey – congratulations – now even more people know you like being slave labor and cannon fodder for the Republican party!! Whoo Hoo!!! Let’s get me some more of that $4 a gallon gas!!

If you are a disappointed Hillary supporter, as I am, please reconsider. Since John McCain has picked Sarah Malon as V.P. running mate what would happen if Mc Cain, given his age, would not be able to complete his presidency, we would then have Sarah Malon as the first woman president. Also is McCain choses not to run for a second term she would be the obvious choice. OH NO – If we are going to have a first woman president it better be Hillary. Think again before you “cut of your nose to spite your face” and vote Republican because you are upset with Obama’s choise for V.P. Look down the road and see if you like the view.

The puppeteers that control John McCain believe that there are enough dumb American women that believe that substituting one woman for another is good enough to win an election. I hope they are wrong, but America did re-elect George Bush and the polls are way closer than this race should be.

    Tonya,
You say that Obama is on the right side of the issues you care about. How about national security? Please explain why anarchists and Communists are drawn to the Democrat party like flies to spoiled meat. The Communist party USA has actually endorsed Obama. So has Hamas. I do not understand how anyone can vote for Obama when our enemies who want to see the USA destroyed, endorse Obama. There is definitely a message in their endorsements as to whom to vote for – and it is definitely not Obama.

I was a Hillary Clinton supporter. I am now voting for Sen. Obama. John Mc Cain is a liar. He do not care for womens issues or respect all women. If you do not believe me to go to Youtube.com. and search for John Mc Cain : How do we get that B****? In the video John Mc Cain and his supporter called Sen. Hillary Clinton a B**** and plans to get her back. This is why I AM VOTING FOR OBAMA.

PLEASE vote for Obama! Consider this: 1) If McCain/Palin get elected the Supreme Court WILL lean to the right with retirements of elder liberal judges. If this happens, Roe V Wade WILL be reversed…not MAY be but WILL be. The Anti-Choice (Anti-Woman) crowd would make sure Supreme Court Judges would be appointed that WILL make it happen. I don’t know about you, but I want my daughter to have a choice about her own body. My desparate aunt bled to death 60 years ago trying to give herself an abortion because she couldn’t bear to bring another baby into a terribly abusive relationship. Many of you have no idea what life was like for women back when safe and clean alternatives were illegal. 2) McCain said he agreed with a questioner that the Draft would have to be instituted because there are not enough volunteer soldiers. We cannot fight the Republicans’ wars with the numbers of volunteer soldiers we presently have, so what do you think will have to happen? Do you want your son or daughter to fight another war based on lies? I’m sorry, it is NOT God’s will that our fine military men and women are shipped to a war that was started by liars. Let’s call McCain/Palin and their Republican crowd what they are…hypocrits and liars!! 3) I am scared to death of an “End Times” religious nut and a separatist from Alaska that close to the nuclear weapons hot button! Need any more reasons? I’ve got ‘em!!

As a former Hillary supporter, I am shocked that you are backing McCain. Don’t you know he wants to repeal Roe vs. Wade? Don’t you know he will appoint Supreme Court justices who are in line with the Bush appointees? Don’t you know he wants to privatize social security and hand health insurance over to the huge insurance conglomerates and make us all fend for ourselves? Are you so angry that you are willing to sacrifice our country’s future because your candidate didn’t get nominated? The issues are of utmost importance at this point in our history. Are you willing to continue our country’s downward spiral with the Republican party because of your disappointment? We all need to stand together and make sure we take a completely different path from the one we have been on for 8 years. Don’t you see what has been done to our country? It makes me very sad to see the division that could cause the Republicans to win and continue their plans to destabilize our foreign policies, to continue our economy’s demise, to take away women’s rights to make decisions about their own bodies and lives, to continue making the rich richer and the poor poorer and destroying the middle class. It’s very sad.

It is astounding to me that women who supported Hilary Clinton could even phathom voting for John McCain. Never mind he made an impulsive move to ask an ill-equipped person to be his running mate, never mind he is a war monger who talks about his military service yet votes against veteran’s benefits, never mind he has been deperately lying throughout this entire campaign … but what astounds me the most is his disloyalty to his own party. Now having a picture standing next to the person the party nominated, stood behind, and supported is suddenly the last person they see as an asset to their cause. Instead of saying that mistakes have been made by our party and now is the time to redirect our efforts, the McCain campaign is pretending they are not them. It reminds me when my kids were little and they would “hide” in the middle of the room saying you can’t see me and we would all pretend we couldn’t find them… Playing pretend is very different then trying to deceive the American people with smoke and mirrors. The country is not as naive as it was eight years ago. If you supported Hilary, then you are smart enough to see all this yourselves.
