Off to Sweden and Denmark!
Today my wife and I are off on a week’s vacation to Sweden and Denmark! This won’t be my first time to Sweden as I previously visited the country back in 2001 and truly enjoyed it.
Stockholm is one of the cleanest and prettiest cities in Europe and they have some of the fanciest 7-11’s you’ll ever see in your life! Not the insides but the outsides, in that some of them are in beautiful old buildings. Sure it’s a bastardization of their culture but ah, what can you do?
My wife and I will be staying in a boat hotel in Stockholm, then with some family of mine in southeast Sweden and then we’re planning to couch surf it in Copenhagen. It’ll be a little rushed but the days are long and we don’t plan to run around too much.
Anyways, even though I will be gone this site will not, look forward to posts all week including a post tomorrow about the advantages of staying on a boat in Stockholm!

I wish you and your wife an absolutely fabulous time in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Don’t get sea-sick on the house boat, and see if they have the same flavors of “Slurpees” as we do here in the States. Best wishes!

Ryan-Thanks, that was really nice of you! It was a great time. I will say that I was a bit queasy on the boat a couple times, especially in the morning after a night of drinking! hehe
I regret not getting a Slurpee in Sweden or Denmark (they have them too)! I swung into 7-11 a couple times but didn’t get a chance to have one.
