Sirened

The masters of the universe are at it again, acting to dismantle environmental regulations while John Q. Public is distracted by scary news.  It’s the old Kansas City Shuffle–you’re looking right while they’re going left.

The House is about to vote on allowing drilling on the coast, and the only thing the environment has on its side at this point is that a lot of republiscum don’t think the bill gives their oil refining masters enough tax cuts.  And it specifies drilling at least 50 miles out, not right on the effin beach.

Fifty miles out is nice–far enough away that you can’t see the damage.  Not until it washes up on the beach with a garnish of dead birds.

And of course, Il Douche is all for it as the video indicates.
