For days the media has been all over the fact that separatist Gov. Sarah Palin’s 17 year old daughter Bristol is pregnant. Obama and his campaign have told everyone to lay off candidates children, something I agree with. But what is America to make of all this and who has the answers?

The world of comedy got hit upside the head this morning with the sudden death of George Carlin at the age of 71. Carlin had a history of heart problems, having had a heart attack in 80’s and two open heart surgeries in that decade as well. Yesterday he checked himself into the hospital complaining of chest pains, this morning he died.

Last week Stephen Colbert gave America an important mission, to make John McCain more exciting. He said it would be like putting a man on the moon, only harder.

Wow, that sure is a delicious looking latte! And it’s not just any old latte either, it’s a French brioche latte, served in a bowl. Why is it served in a bowl? Ask Al Gore, he knows. Perhaps it has something to do with the environment.

It’s another theme day here at b5media’s Travel & Culture channel and with the theme being the letter “T” I decided to go with the talking political heads. This is a hilarious video of Faux News favorite Bill O’Reilly from back in the day on Inside Edition, his teleprompter doesn’t work and he goes absolutely bat shit over it. He kinda reminds me of a far far more intense version of Bill Murray’s weatherman character in the film Groundhog Day.

Hey, remember that fiasco that happened back in 2000, when we elected Al Gore as president but got George “pretend cowboy” Bush instead. Well, now you can relive that moment on May 25th with the HBO film Recount starring Kevin Spacey, Dennis Leary, Laura Dern and Tom Wilkinson. What a great cast!
