Congress Seeks Chat With Harriet Miers
Gonzo and the ‘Decider’ aren’t out of the woods over the firings of 9 federal judges just yet. Congress has issued subpoenas for former White House counsel and Bush Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers and Sara Taylor.
Bush is expected to be a huge pain in the ass over this matter. He’d ideally love Congress off his back and asking members of his administration to God forbid, testify under oath. And if they do testify under oath, like Gonzo did, showing faith to the President means not remembering anything. Idiocy and incompetence goes a long way in this administration.
So if Miers does testify, expect a huge sideshow similar to the farce Gonzo displayed. Imagine if the unqualified Miers had been confirmed as a Supreme Court judge? Then again, she could not possibly be more of a lap dog to the President and Big Business than Samuel Alito is. Corruption, deceit, blind arrogance and nepotism are what this administration is all about.
