Is Ron Paul Racist?
Back in a 1992 newsletter that had Ron Paul’s name on it, there were some rather unflattering comments written towards the black community. While this isn’t new news, it wasn’t as big a deal in the small congressional district of Texas that Paul represents as it is now on the national scene.
Yesterday Paul went on CNN’s The Situation Room and vehemently denied the allegations that he is a racist. He said that he didn’t write what was written, didn’t read it and had no idea who wrote it. Hmm…The best part was when he said that he and other libertarians don’t see color. Do you know who else says that? My man Stephen Colbert! Not only does Stephen Colbert not see color, he also doesn’t see sex. When one congressman asked Colbert that if he didn’t see sex, how did he know he was married to a woman? Colbert replied that he knew it was a woman because he was attracted to her. Duh! So what about sex Ron Paul, do libertarians see sex?

I don’t much care for Ron Paul but I do believe many in our nation have become too “PC”. It is like some folks have to “tippe-toe” around all they say so as to not offend anyone. And too many “PC” patrolmen seek out one mis-step, one reference to anything resembling “rascism” or “sexism”…YIKES!!

I would have to say that there is PLENTY of evidence to demonstrate that Ron Paul runs with the White Supremacist crowd. But even if these claims of racism can’t stick, his supporters give me the creeps.
A nice mix of 9/11 troofers, white power skinheads, “anti-war” zealots, holier-than-thou college students, and bored teenagers, don’t you think?

Alex, I meant what I said about use of the “F” word. But I am, respectfully making a comment on the issue of Polical-Correctness, and my opinion of this issue. However, all you seem capable of doing is to focus on a previous issue on using the “F” word.
Well, that’s rather sad, even sadder than Ron Paul’s stand.

Ariel-All the hardcore Ron Paul support is unfortunate for several reasons-but I can personally say that some of it is with good intentions. I don’t support him at all but my sister has donated over $200 to his campaign! She’s hardcore, she has wrist bands, bumper stickers, hats, etc. She has good intentions, she’s just so stuck on the few good things he has to say and doesn’t listen to all the crap. Then again, they are all full of crap.
Fritz-Please, you’re what’s sad. That comment you made is totally ridiculous coming from you-you really have lost the little bit of cred you had which wasn’t much to begin with.
Fritz is acting like a politician who condemns “unjust” social behaviors and then goes out and does the very same things (or worse) that he preaches against.
