Pennsylvania Set to Deliver Its “Bitter” Message of Despair

by Alex on April 22nd, 2008

In just a few hours the polls will close in Pennsylvania and the people of that state will give us their glum vision of the future-I presume something along the lines of Terminator or Planet of the Apes. Whether the world will be taken over by machines or hairy primates is anyones guess, but the people of Pennsylvania are currently weighing in on that very question. Well, not exactly, but it seems firmly established that they are bitter and hopeless.

How many people in the state really are, in fact bitter? Is the bitterness so pervasive that they can actually taste it each day when they go to their miserable jobs, deal with their ungrateful children and have to talk with their boring spouses? Does it taste something like a flat Old Milwaukee that just won’t stop repeating? Or like that rusty nail you just can’t resist licking?

There are many bitter and hopeless questions that Pennsylvanians are pondering at this very moment, as they decide between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Will clean drinking water be restored? Will the malaria end? And when will Red Cross aid workers stop getting shot by Philadelphia insurgents?

Agh I’m so glad we’re not being bombarded with this dribble at the moment. People, turn off the talking heads and do some of your own research and make up your own mind about who you want to vote for!! All this makes me sick and I’m glad the Katie Couric debate was canceled, ahh I can only imagine how that would have gone!

It’s unfortunate that the last piece of crap debate has impacted having another debate. Then again, they’ve been debating for a freaking year. This should be over now!
