Bush’s Address on Economic Meltdown

Bush’s Address on Economic Meltdown

So last night George Bush addressed the nation and tried to act all bi-partisan like, saying both sides are working on the economic apocalypse. Of course, this is after his goons tried to get 700 billion blank check dollars for the corporate overlords to do as they wished. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, who would have otherwise been accountable to nobody, is a former CEO for Goldman Sachs.
I guess Bush and company were hoping that Congress wouldn’t read this thing and just say, ok here is your 700 billion dollars Mr. Decider. Then when Congress actually read the proposal and …read more

Bush’s Speech to the RNC

Bush’s Speech to the RNC

In case you missed it last night here is President George-John “Insane in the Membrane” BuCain endorsing the real change, “country first” candidate. You know, the one that voted with itself 90% of the time.
Probably the best thing Bush could have done for McCain would have been to come out and endorse Barack Obama.
But notice how John McCain wasn’t at the convention last night when Bush was speaking and how we never see them together these days. Is it possible that they, in fact, really are the same person now!?!

‘Decider’ to Speak at RNC After All

‘Decider’ to Speak at RNC After All

Thanks to Gustav, President Bush will not be at the Republican National Convention personally, but will be speaking tonight live via satellite. And the RNC’s website is really touting the president’s address.
The website says:
The 2008 Republican National Convention today announced the program of events for Tuesday, Sept. 2. The program will feature speeches by U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman and former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson. Their remarks will reflect the convention’s overall theme, “Country First,” and the theme for Tuesday’s events, which is “service.”
Then the site goes on to say:
Among the other speakers announced today are President George W. Bush (via …read more

199 Days Left of George Bush!

Less than 200 days to do! So ok, that’s still like 1,999 days too long but what the hell can you do? At least the end is near…Dance George dance!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day America! I’m sorry I can’t be with you to celebrate, but rest assured that I will be bringing 4th of July to the town of Kalmar, Sweden tonight.
So put some real American dogs on the grill, have some beers and watch some shit explode in the sky. Another wonderful thing about today…exactly 200 days left of George Bush!

Laura Bush Wants you to Wish “W’ a Happy 62nd Birthday!

Laura Bush Wants you to Wish “W’ a Happy 62nd Birthday!

Evidently President Numb Nuts has another birthday coming up because despite his presidency, the Earth still managed another revolution around the sun. Also, he’s managed not to stab himself to death because the White House staff puts corks on his forks so he can eat his apple sauce, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels style!
Anyways, Laura Bush sent me and millions of other schmucks who are on the RNC mailing list an email to remind us that George BuCain will be celebrating his 62nd birthday on July 6th. And while it’s still 18 days away it’s never too early to sign his card …read more

John Cusack Takes on John McCain

John Cusack Takes on John McCain

Here’s John Cusack’s little ad for Moveon.org that attacks John McCain. Cusack wants to know if you can tell the difference between George BuCain and John McBush.
It’s clear that the star of Drop Dead Fred is an Obama supporter. I say we let the celebrities caucus to decide our next president, it’s about as fair as the current electoral system.

Some Media Fessing Up to Screwing Up on Iraq

Some Media Fessing Up to Screwing Up on Iraq

Finally! Backstabbing Scott McClellan’s new book What Happened has the media looking into their own muck ups prior to the invasion of Iraq. As many remember, the media’s coverage was basically a flag waving parade as they helped enable the Bush administration to spew their propaganda without serious question.
From a business perspective, it made total sense for the media to do what they did. After President Bush put weapons of mass destruction and Saddam Hussein in the same sentence, some 80% of Americans supported a toppling of the regime. So the media was simply reporting on what the general public …read more

New Republican Slogan Same as Anti-Depressant

New Republican Slogan Same as Anti-Depressant

Well, this is really only fitting I suppose. Especially when the President of the United States seems to care more about Israel and its interests than that of his own country. It’s hard to explain why else he would take a cheap (and bullshit) shot at an American politician in front of the Israeli parliament.
Anyways, republicans and Effexor, a match made in heaven!

HBO’s Florida Recount Movie

HBO’s Florida Recount Movie

Hey, remember that fiasco that happened back in 2000, when we elected Al Gore as president but got George “pretend cowboy” Bush instead. Well, now you can relive that moment on May 25th with the HBO film Recount starring Kevin Spacey, Dennis Leary, Laura Dern and Tom Wilkinson. What a great cast! I can’t wait to see how they’ve portrayed my home state at the moment we fucked up the world.
I don’t just blame other Floridians either as I had a stake in the mistake too. In 2000, as a protest vote I decided to vote for Ralph Nader (obviously …read more
