What is Water Boarding and How is it Done?
There has been a lot of talk about water boarding and whether or not it is torture as defined by the Geneva Convention and United States law. The president has said point blank, “we do not torture.” Really, water boarding sounds pretty innocent and maybe even fun. If I didn’t know it was used on terrorist suspects I would envision something along the lines of knee boarding in a lake, which actually can be torture depending on your skill and how fast the driver of the boat is going.
Anyways, here is a demonstration of water boarding just in case you’re curious. You may want to show this to your kids, their friends and some of the neighborhood children too. There’s a good chance that one day a baseball is going to come flying through your window and the culprits will most likely flee the scene of the crime. Thankfully water boarding is not torture and it is said to be a successful way to obtain information. So with that in mind, you can round up some suspects, and use the wonderful water boarding techniques that are displayed in this instructional video. You will most definitely obtain some kind of information by using this!

From your 2nd paragraph, it sounds as if you would not wish this tactic to be used against a captured illegal enemy combatant who might have information about a massive plan to kill thousands of Americans, perhaps in your town or city?

It is what it is and my opinion is irrelevant. But as I said, by using water boarding, people will talk to you!! Think about it.

This is horrable! I will not show this to my children. If our Government has stooped this low to use this type of interregation which is against the Geneva convention we as a Nation are not any better than the communist. Shame on us for that!

Bonita-Thanks for the comment. Yeah, our gov’t says this is not torture but I suppose it’s up to the individual to decide. I will say this-I don’t want to ever be water boarded! But if someone ever does that to me I will tell them something, even if I know nothing!

The guy in uniform is not in the service. It’s a setup by someone to look like a Soldier. His uniform is all jacked up and he’s not even shaven. Propoganda against the government. Don’t believe everything you see and hear.

It’s really nice to have the luxury of ignoring what is going on in the world, Alex. Let’s look at the situation in WWII. Chamberlain “peace in our lifetime” to hell with the future. Hitler really wasn’t killing Jews, it’s just delousing. Ya, not resisting evil is a good plan. The millions of Vietnamese who had opposing views who were killed after we left Viet Nam are just sitting on their cloud in heaven saying “Thank you Jane Fonda and John Kerry”. The extreme muslim leadership is actually telling you they want to kill you and wipe out Isreal and western civilization. They don’t even lie. They must be good people. Alex, you should talk to a few military people, 99% really are intelligent citizens who not only defend our freedoms, but the freedoms of people in the opressed corners of the world. PJ-I don’t ignore what is going on in the world. Far from it. By the way, I’ve been to Vietnam. My wife and I vacationed there for 12 days a couple years ago. I was disturbed by their museums that had shot down American planes, tanks, etc. But you know, that country has fought hard for their independence and they finally have it. It’s becoming a bigger tourist destination and I imagine that in a decade it will be like Thailand is now.
I have talked to military people and I can sure as hell say that 99% intelligence like you said is ridiculous. Are you kidding me? You can’t find 99% intelligence on the campus of Harvard.
Yeah, that’s not a real soldier but that is a fairly accurate depiction of water boarding which is simulated drowning, which is torture.
If we really cared about protecting our nation we would have secured our borders. Give me a break PJ, you are not welcome, and you sir, wake up!!

У меня такой вопрос,кто что интересное подскажет буду признателен.
Мы с друзьями собираемся поехать в круиз по просторам России и ближнего зарубежья месяца на два на своих машинах,но не как не можем согласовать маршрут,если у кого уже был опыт такого путешествия,может,что посоветуете.Девчонок с собой не берем,думаем,что во все городах России с этим не будет проблем,если у кого будут рекомендации и в вопросе отдыха с девушками тоже буду признателен.
