Why is Willie Nelson on the Cover of ‘High Times?’

by Alex on December 12th, 2007

Willie Nelson, High TimesI was cruising around the internets and decided to swing by High Times to see what the medical marijuana lobbyists were up to. And by golly, there he was, Willie Nelson with all his glorious bud!

I found this a bit curious since he was recently arrested for weed possession in Louisiana when his Mystery Smoke Machine was randomly pulled over. This of course was Toby Keith’s fault since the week previous he was on The Colbert Report and told Stephen Colbert that he smoked weed on Willie Nelson’s bus because that’s just what you do on there.

Anyways, Willie obviously doesn’t care, besides, dude has had a killer migraine for like 50 years, how else is he supposed to treat that?

Kathy, I approved your comment but only after deleting the entire body of the link you also entered. Including the whole body is not appropriate and frankly kinda rude. The link and a brief description is suffice.

For those interested that link is to a story about Willie Nelson being a gay loving hippie that is destroying America. Enjoy!! ;)

Great, another nut-case heard from. Enjoy the last days of the Bush Presidency, Kathy. The days of America listening to you religeous freaks is nearing it’s end.

My God doesn’t judge. He does however, give me choices. Choices for me to learn from, not to be dictated by narrow minded people like you. Don’t you have a funeral to protest!?

Ed-Yeah this decadent music really messes people up. The best is when your town is run by a self proclaimed son of God who allows no contact with the outside world and the only music people are allowed to listen to is the music he himself creates.

Willie’s got it pretty decent I think, he even has his own Ben & Jerry’s flavor now-Country Peach Cobbler (I think it’s their new gay friendly flavor). Take that William Jeffs!
