Why Was John Roberts Dining With Bush and the Queen?
The founding fathers created the constitution to have checks and balances in the form of seperation of powers in the executive, legislative and judicial branches. That’s elementary of course and it’s also elementary that Bush, Cheney and big business have eroded the constitution to try and centralize power into one giant cluster fuck overlord-And an incompetant one at that.
Yes, the President appoints Supreme Court Justices who are then confirmed by Congress. And obviously a president will always choose a candidate who leans towards their ideological way of thinking. But Chief Justice John Roberts not only leans towards Bush, he full on gives him the reach around every single day.
John Roberts has voted in favor of just about everything in regards to reckless support for big business, more power for the executive branch, against environmental issues, and so on.
For the Bush administration this is no surprise, corruption is as prevelant at the White House as cotton candy is at the local fair. But seeing John Robert’s name on the guest list for the state dinner honoring her majesty, Queen of England was quite ridiculous. Then again, so is Justice Antonin Scalia going duck hunting with Dick Cheney.
Here is the complete guest list of some 200 at the Queen’s lavishly fabulous dinner Monday night. Other questionables were press lackeys like David Gregory of NBC and blond bimbo host of The View, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her husband Matt Hasselbeck, quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. And then there was Peyton Manning’s team too.
Correction: Elisabeth Hasselbeck is married to Matt’s brother, Tim Hasselbeck, 3rd string quarterback of the New York Giants. Good deal that he attended the Queen’s state dinner, there are lots of 3rd stringers in this administration!

Wrong Hasselbeck, she is married to Tim, not Matt.

Thanks for pointing out my error. I had no idea there was a Tim Hasselbeck. Seems like she married the wrong brother, Matt makes way more money, jk.
