Will Eliot Spitzer Get to Stay a Super Delegate?
Eliot Spitzer (or client #9) as the FBI likes to call him has been all the political news of late. I first saw the story on the cover of a Dutch newspaper here in Amsterdam on Tuesday. It read something like Eliot Spitzer…blah blah blah (it was in Dutch). My first thought was that it must be big shit if this guy is making the cover of Dutch newspapers. But since he’s not a republican, I figured he was safe as far as the attempting to screw dudes in airport bathrooms shenanigans. But involvement in a prostitution ring certainly crossed my mind as a potential reason for seeing Eliot ‘let’s give drivers licenses to illegal immigrants’ Spitzer’s face while out and about in Holland.
I’ve been reading some funny stuff about this little charade, check out what Bill Maher had to say about Eliot’s Spitzer on the Huffington Post. And over on The Examiner they have pictures of room 871 at the Mayflower in D.C., alleged site of where “Client #9″ and prostitute Ashley Alexandra Dupre or “Kristen” bumped uglies at a high price tag.
And while Spitzer formally resigned on Wednesday, my question is…what about his Super Delegate vote? Does he get to keep that? If not then can I have it?
